Eating My Way Thru OR - Day 1

Oregon  - June 2017 Original Dinerant  (300 SW 6th Ave, Portland OR 97204) - Donut Burger Sliders, they take two buttermilk donuts, Tillamook cheddar, ground beef patty, and top with donut glaze; sweet and salty heaven! We also got Northwest Clam Chowder which was pretty tasty. Pok Pok (3226 SE Division St, Portland OR 97202) - Ike’s Vietnamese Fish Sauce Wings, 6 chicken wings marinated in fish sauce and sugar, deep fried, tossed in caramelized Vietnamese fish sauce and garlic and served with Cu Cai (pickled vegetables.) I really enjoyed these wings. We also ordered the Neua Naam Tok which is spicy Isaan flank steak “salad” with fish sauce, lime and chili powder dressing, shallots, lemongrass, mint, cilantro and toasted rice powder, with a side of sticky rice.
