Recently, I read an
article that
Walmart was opening 5 Walmart Neighborhood Markets in the Denver area. These stores are smaller concept Walmarts (usually 1/4 the size of Walmart Supercenters) — that feature bakeries, self-serve delis, meat and dairy products, fresh produce, frozen goods, organic items, general merchandise, and pharmacies. They opened in June 2012 and are the 1st to open in Colorado. They claim to add 400 new jobs. I went to the Walmart Neighborhood Market on South Parker Rd in southeast Denver. I found some pretty good deals on most food items, saving around $0.05-$1.00 on each item.
