I bought a $5 Groupon to Gunther Toody's Diner for $10 worth of food. So we went there for brunch this morning. Gunther Toody's is a blast from the past retro fifties-themed eatery operating in 8 Colorado locations for over 20 years. There were bowling-shirted waiters and poodle-skirted waitresses with Elvis and Jerry Lee on the jukebox. It’s not the finest food in town, but it’s cheap. For breakfast, we ordered and split Huevos Rancheros ($7.69) with 2 eggs hashbrowns, green chili, melted cheddar, refried beans, jalapeños, flour tortillas, and a side of bacon. Everything was very pretty good, a little spicy.
