I didn't have time to post last night, therefore I'm posting this a day late as this occurred yesterday (Tues 7/3/12).
I didn't have to go to work on Wednesday so I had a couple drinks on Tuesday night. After our softball game (we unfortunately lost), we grilled some pork chops and served it will corn on the cob and coleslaw. I drank a Samuel Adams Summer Ale by Boston Beer Co. Summer Ale is an American wheat ale that uses malted wheat, lemon peel, and Grains of Paradise, a rare pepper from Africa first used as a brewing spice in the 13th century, to create a crisp taste, spicy flavor and medium body. The ale fermentation imparts a background tropical fruit note reminiscent of mangos and peaches. They say it is good paired with a sweet, rich, and buttery taste of lobster. I enjoyed a couple bottles of it good thing the office is closed.
