I wanted to bake a cake so I bought some Pillsbury Most Supreme Golden Butter Recipe Cake Mix. I read the directions and it recommended adding 3 tablespoons of flour and 2 tablespoons of water to the recipe if you live at High Altitude (about 3,500 feet). I live at 5,280 feet but vouched out of the special directions. I think my cake came out just fine with the regular directions. If I lived above 8,000 feet maybe then I would have followed it. After my 13"x9" cake was baked about 35 minutes, I let it cool then poured Jell-O Sugar Free Strawberry Flavor Gelatin over the cake (mix hot water, cold water, packet, in liquid form). I topped the cake with Fat Free Cool Whip and a few cut up strawberries. The cake was delicious without cooking it the High Altitude way!
