280th New Thing - Ate Welch's Fruit Snacks

I didn't have time to post last night, therefore I'm posting this late as this occurred 2 days ago (Thurs 7/26/12).

My department at my company was supposed to have a big summer BBQ today at noon. They moved it to August the day before. I guess as a 'sorry for the late notice', they brought in a bunch of salty and sweet snacks, like trail mix, Cracker Jacks, jelly beans, Peanut M&Ms, Hersey's Chocolate, and Welch's Fruit Snacks. I've never had Welch's Fruit Snacks before. I tried the Mixed Fruit flavor with Strawberry, Raspberry, Orange, White Grape, Grape, and Peach in a 2.25 oz bags. They also come in Island Fruits, Berries n' Cherries, Concord Grape, White Grape Raspberry, Strawberry, Tangy Fruits, Fruit Punch, White Grape Peach, and even Reduced Sugar Mixed Fruit. They are made with real fruit and fruit juices and contain no preservatives. They are also fat free, gluten free, and contain 100% of the recommended daily value of Vitamin C and 25% of Vitamins A and E. They tasted like your typical fruit snack. I'm glad I got a treat at work today!

111th New Thing - Took a Zyrtec

If you recall, I went to the dermatologist to get a skin screening for the 1st time back in December. When I was there, the doctor did a biopsy of 1 of the moles on my back (which came back as normal, by the way). The area was healing pretty well until about 2 weeks ago. The area around the wound started getting bigger instead of smaller and oozing. Therefore, I went back to my doctor to check it out. She said I was having an allergic reaction to something, probably the Neosporin . She gave me some new ointment, Vanos , and said I should take Zyrtec until the area starts to get better. Vanos (fluocinonide) Cream is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses in patients. Best results are seen if used twice per day. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Zyrtec can be u...

364th New Thing - Ate a Mini Lemon Bites

My co-workers birthday was today so to celebrate they bought her a vanilla cake, a chocolate cake, and mini lemon bites from Costco . I had some chocolate cake and a mini lemon bite. These are made by Upper Crust Bakery . They supply Sam's Club, Starbucks, Costco, Kroger, Whole Foods, and BJ’s Wholesale Club. Both desserts that I ate tasted good. According to the Livestrong Calorie Tracker , 1 mini lemon bite is 130 calories, 19 g carbs, and 1 g protein. What did you do today?
