This may sound weird to some and normal to others, but today I boiled peanuts . This is a popular snack in Southeast United States (most popular in the Carolinas). Since I'm from the Northeast, I've never heard of this until last year when I watched a University of Georgia football game at a friends house in Denver. The hosts were from GA and had boiled peanuts as a snack. They were good. All you have to do is buy raw peanuts in boil them in salted water for about 4 hours. You should try it sometime.
