11th New Thing – Made Funky Pictures of My Photo

Today I have decided it is time to add a profile picture to my blog but I don't necessarily want my picture up there. I saw that my cousin, Juliette, had some sort of cartoon figure as her profile picture, so I thought it would be fun to make a cartoon or caricature out of myself as well. I did a Google search on the keywords 'free caricature from photo'. I looked at a few websites but used this website to cartoonize my profile BeFunky. It only took minutes to complete. I guess this one isn't too cartoony or crazy, but I like it. It looks like a real artist painted me. Then I experimented with Simpsonizing (if you like the TV show The Simpsons) myself and Avatarizing (if you like the movie Avatar) myself.

Someday while I’m at a carnival or amusement park, I would also like to get a real live caricature artist to draw one for me too.

NOLA - October 2018 PJ's Coffee (5432 Magazine St, New Orleans LA 70115) - Goal was The King Cake Protein Velvet Ice but apparently that was only seasonal around Mardi Gras. Chilly's Snoballs (3940 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie LA 70006) - Sampled a few and then ordered 8oz Douberge and 8oz Wedding Cake from the drive-thru. NOLA - October 2018 Café Du Monde (800 Decatur St, New Orleans LA 70116) - Café Au Lait and Beignets, only a 10 minute wait with some live music and well worth it! Commander’s Palace (1403 Washington Ave, New Orleans LA 70130) - Soups 1-1-1 (Turtle Soup, Creole Gumbo du Jour, Soup du Jour), Commander's Crisp Romaine Salad, and Creole Tostada; and, of course, a 25¢ Martini (does it really matter what kind!).
