139th New Thing - Played Draw Something

I wanted to see what OMGPOP's Draw Something app was all about so I downloaded the game to my new Razr to check it out. Draw Something is a social mobile game that challenges players to draw and guess pictures with their family and friends (basically it is the digital version of Pictionary). I started a game with Matt. I drew the word Grapes and sent it. Then he guessed (correctly) and drew the word Sit for me to guess (correctly). I'm not sure how points work. Draw Something is relatively new and went viral fast. It reached 1 million downloads before it had a single search result in Google News. At 4 weeks old, the app has about 6 million downloads and users that are creating 1,000 drawings every second. It is currently the #1 free app in the app store. It's also the #1 word game in 26 countries. That's what I call good word of mouth marketing!

NOLA - October 2018 PJ's Coffee (5432 Magazine St, New Orleans LA 70115) - Goal was The King Cake Protein Velvet Ice but apparently that was only seasonal around Mardi Gras. So I got a PJ's Original Cold Brew Iced Coffee instead. A chain but good stuff. Royal House (441 Royal St, New Orleans LA 70130) - Crawfish Benedict with a side of grits was very tasty. Chilly's Snoballs (3940 Veterans Memorial Blvd, Metairie LA 70006) - Sampled a few and then ordered 8oz Douberge and 8oz Wedding Cake from the drive-thru. Commander’s Palace (1403 Washington Ave, New Orleans LA 70130) - Soups 1-1-1 (Turtle Soup, Creole Gumbo du Jour, Soup du Jour), Commander's Crisp Romaine Salad, and Creole Tostada; and, of course, a 25¢ Martini (does it really matter what kind!).
