I read that a healthy alternative to popcorn is Roasted Chickpeas. They have fiber and protein and contain less fat. The ingredients for Roasted Chickpeas are can of chickpeas (garbanzo beans), olive oil, sea salt, and spices (I used pepper and paprika). You must drain, rinse, and dry the chickpeas otherwise they'll end up chewy and soggy. You toss chickpeas in a bowl with all the ingredients and bake 30 minutes at 400F. They are a very tasty snack and I will definitely make them again.
