362nd New Thing - The Coffee Nook

I bought a $6 Groupon to The Coffee Nook for $12 worth of coffee and food. So we went there for breakfast this morning. The Coffee Nook is a coffee and sandwich shop centrally located in Glendale across from Infinity Park. It was started in 2009 by a woman who wanted to develop a model for single moms in business. It is now on its 4th owner, Deanne, who had the dream of getting out of the corporate world and starting her own small business. They offer coffee, hot and cold beverages, pastries, breakfast burritos, snacks, quesadillas, grilled cheese sandwiches, paninis, and more with indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered a 12 oz Caramel Macchiato $3.00, 12 oz Flavored Latte with Irish Cream $3.25, Croissant (sausage, egg, and cheese) $3.00, and a Breakfast Burrito (sausage, egg, cheese, potatoes, and green chilis) $3.00. Everything was very pretty good.

111th New Thing - Took a Zyrtec

If you recall, I went to the dermatologist to get a skin screening for the 1st time back in December. When I was there, the doctor did a biopsy of 1 of the moles on my back (which came back as normal, by the way). The area was healing pretty well until about 2 weeks ago. The area around the wound started getting bigger instead of smaller and oozing. Therefore, I went back to my doctor to check it out. She said I was having an allergic reaction to something, probably the Neosporin . She gave me some new ointment, Vanos , and said I should take Zyrtec until the area starts to get better. Vanos (fluocinonide) Cream is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses in patients.
