291st New Thing - Played Flow Free

I wanted to see what Big Duck Games' Flow Free app was all about so I downloaded the game to my Razr to check it out. Big Duck Games appears to make smartphone games since around May 2011. They made
WP7 Penguin, Fireworks Arcade, Flow Free, and Spark Art. Flow Free is a simple yet addictive puzzle game. You connect matching colors with pipe to create a flow by pairing colors to cover the entire board to solve each puzzle. There are hundreds of levels, and time trials, from simple to challenging. Experience "mind like water"! Flow Free has been downloaded over 3 million times on iTunes and is the #1 free US iPhone game as of this announcement and has been at the top of the charts for over 2 weeks. The Android version just came out the end of June 2012. I found it to be easy, a little too easy as I earned "Perfect" on all 30 levels in 5x5. I'll try 6x6 next.

111th New Thing - Took a Zyrtec

If you recall, I went to the dermatologist to get a skin screening for the 1st time back in December. When I was there, the doctor did a biopsy of 1 of the moles on my back (which came back as normal, by the way). The area was healing pretty well until about 2 weeks ago. The area around the wound started getting bigger instead of smaller and oozing. Therefore, I went back to my doctor to check it out. She said I was having an allergic reaction to something, probably the Neosporin . She gave me some new ointment, Vanos , and said I should take Zyrtec until the area starts to get better. Vanos (fluocinonide) Cream is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses in patients. Best results are seen if used twice per day. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose. Zyrtec can be u...

361st New Thing - Tried on Wedding Dresses

I didn't have time to post the last night, therefore I'm posting this late as this occurred yesterday (Mon 10/15/12). My friend and I went to David's Bridal last night to try on some wedding dresses. I looked on their website a few months ago to get a feel of the type of dresses I like. There are 6 styles: Classic & Traditional, Chic & Modern, Elegant & Luxurious, Glamorous & Dramatic, Destination, and Reception. I like Classic & Traditional the best. There are 5 silhouettes to choose from: A-Line, Ball Gown, Mermaid/Trumpet, Sheath, and Short. I like A-Line the best. I'm considering straps or strapless. It took about 1.5 hours to try on 5 dresses. I liked 2 of the dresses I tried on, both were under $350. My goal is to find one under $200. Here is one of the 'favorites' that I saw online. It is hard to tell if I would or wouldn't like it on myself. What did you do today?
