I didn't have time to post the last night, therefore I'm posting this late as this occurred yesterday (Mon 8/27/12).
We watched a movie entitled Definitely, Maybe with Ryan Reynolds, Rachel Weisz, Elizabeth Banks, and Abigail Breslin, that came out on February 14, 2008. This is a romantic comedy film about a thirtysomething Manhattan dad that is in the midst of a divorce when his 10-year-old daughter starts to question him about his life before marriage. She wants to know absolutely everything about how her parents met and fell in love. So he relives his past as an idealistic young man learning the 'ins' and 'outs' of big city politics, and recounts the history of his romantic relationships with 3 very different women. As the daughter puts together the pieces of her dad's romantic puzzle, she begins to understand that love is not so simple or easy. And as the dad tells her his tale, she helps him to understand that it's definitely never too late to go back--and maybe even possible to find a happy ending. The movie was ok if you like romantic comedies. I enjoyed it and Ms. Breslin performance. IMDB gave it a 7.2 out of 10 and I agree with that rating.
