My friend's boyfriend is fundraising while running the
2012 Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 7th, 2012 in honor of his mother who pasted away from cancer 10 years ago. All money that is raised goes to cancer research to help reduce the risk of cancer, provide free programs and services for cancer patients, and make sure cancer is a priority issue for elected officials. I donated $26.20 ($1 for every mile he runs) to the
American Cancer Society. I feel good since I am also running a marathon (Denver Rock 'n' Roll Marathon) and helped raise money for a wonderful cause and in honor of an amazing women who raised 8 wonderful children. Click
here if you would like to donate as well!
