323rd New Thing - Took a Umcka ColdCare

I'm not feeling good. I had a sore throat yesterday and had a snuffy nose today. We have Nature's Way Umcka ColdCare under our bathroom sink. I've never heard of Umcka before today. Nature's Way is herbal medicine company that has been around for over 40 years. Umcka uses a homeopathic preparation of P. sidoides roots (EPs 7630), a leading medicine in Europe. Much of their supply of EPs 7630 is grown on their farms in South Africa.Umcka ColdCare reduces the severity of throat, nasal and bronchial irritations, including cough, congestion and sore throat. It is available in mint-menthol and cherry flavor. I took 4 mint-menthol chewable tablets today. I also had 2 Emergen-C drinks and 2 teas. However, I don't feel any better.

111th New Thing - Took a Zyrtec

If you recall, I went to the dermatologist to get a skin screening for the 1st time back in December. When I was there, the doctor did a biopsy of 1 of the moles on my back (which came back as normal, by the way). The area was healing pretty well until about 2 weeks ago. The area around the wound started getting bigger instead of smaller and oozing. Therefore, I went back to my doctor to check it out. She said I was having an allergic reaction to something, probably the Neosporin . She gave me some new ointment, Vanos , and said I should take Zyrtec until the area starts to get better. Vanos (fluocinonide) Cream is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses in patients. Best results are seen if used twice per day. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. 361st New Thing - Tried on Wedding Dresses

I didn't have time to post the last night, therefore I'm posting this late as this occurred yesterday (Mon 10/15/12). My friend and I went to David's Bridal last night to try on some wedding dresses. I looked on their website a few months ago to get a feel of the type of dresses I like. There are 6 styles: Classic & Traditional, Chic & Modern, Elegant & Luxurious, Glamorous & Dramatic, Destination, and Reception. I like Classic & Traditional the best. There are 5 silhouettes to choose from: A-Line, Ball Gown, Mermaid/Trumpet, Sheath, and Short. I like A-Line the best. I'm considering straps or strapless. It took about 1.5 hours to try on 5 dresses. I liked 2 of the dresses I tried on, both were under $350. My goal is to find one under $200. Here is one of the 'favorites' that I saw online. It is hard to tell if I would or wouldn't like it on myself. What did you do today?
