263rd New Thing - Cut Hair

Matt bought a Philips Norelco G370 Grooming System at Target yesterday. It is an all-in-one grooming kit for face and hair that includes a flexing guide comb, 9 locking length settings vary cutting length, full-size facial hair trimmer, mini shaver, hair clipper with 9 locking length settings, beard and moustache trimmer with 9 locking length settings, nose, ear and eyebrow trimmer, rechargeable cordless for trimming without a cord, cleaning brush, grooming comb, and pouch. I believe the kit was only $13.99. I was forced to try to cut Matt's hair. I attempted to cut hair today at the 4 setting and failed miserably. Actually, it wasn't that bad, just a couple shorter sports. Matt will be going to Great Clips tomorrow morning. I think I need to watch a YouTube how-to video 1st before attempting to cut hair again.

111th New Thing - Took a Zyrtec

If you recall, I went to the dermatologist to get a skin screening for the 1st time back in December. When I was there, the doctor did a biopsy of 1 of the moles on my back (which came back as normal, by the way). The area was healing pretty well until about 2 weeks ago. The area around the wound started getting bigger instead of smaller and oozing. Therefore, I went back to my doctor to check it out. She said I was having an allergic reaction to something, probably the Neosporin . She gave me some new ointment, Vanos , and said I should take Zyrtec until the area starts to get better. Vanos (fluocinonide) Cream is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses in patients. Best results are seen if used twice per day. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. 361st New Thing - Tried on Wedding Dresses

I didn't have time to post the last night, therefore I'm posting this late as this occurred yesterday (Mon 10/15/12). My friend and I went to David's Bridal last night to try on some wedding dresses. I looked on their website a few months ago to get a feel of the type of dresses I like. There are 6 styles: Classic & Traditional, Chic & Modern, Elegant & Luxurious, Glamorous & Dramatic, Destination, and Reception. I like Classic & Traditional the best. There are 5 silhouettes to choose from: A-Line, Ball Gown, Mermaid/Trumpet, Sheath, and Short. I like A-Line the best. I'm considering straps or strapless. It took about 1.5 hours to try on 5 dresses. I liked 2 of the dresses I tried on, both were under $350. My goal is to find one under $200. Here is one of the 'favorites' that I saw online. It is hard to tell if I would or wouldn't like it on myself. What did you do today?
