285th New Thing - Ate at Park Burger

After our softball game, our team went to Park Burger in the Platt Park neighborhood since we thought it was our last game (we actually have at least 2 more games in the playoffs). Park Burger is a quick-serve restaurant that makes premium burgers and drinks in 3 locations in Colorado. Jean-Philippe Failyau has over 10 years of experience in the food industry. He wanted to bring his experience and philosophy of better ingredients = better food to the burger industry. Jean-Philippe has work experience in some of the top fine dining restaurants in New York City, San Francisco and Denver. He is also part owner of Osteria Marco on Larimer Square.

Matt and I ordered and split a Royale ($8.00) with 1/3 lb beef patty, caramelized onions, bleu cheese, bacon, pickles, onions, lettuce, and tomato. We ordered french and sweet potato fries as well. I enjoyed the Park Burger and would go back there to get a New Yorker (not on our menu but online)!

111th New Thing - Took a Zyrtec

If you recall, I went to the dermatologist to get a skin screening for the 1st time back in December. When I was there, the doctor did a biopsy of 1 of the moles on my back (which came back as normal, by the way). The area was healing pretty well until about 2 weeks ago. The area around the wound started getting bigger instead of smaller and oozing. Therefore, I went back to my doctor to check it out. She said I was having an allergic reaction to something, probably the Neosporin . She gave me some new ointment, Vanos , and said I should take Zyrtec until the area starts to get better. Vanos (fluocinonide) Cream is indicated for the relief of the inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid responsive dermatoses in patients. Best results are seen if used twice per day. Zyrtec (cetirizine) is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body.
